Hi, this is Michael with Quantum Merchant Services. I'm going to talk with you a little bit about Pin Pads. Pin Pads which are otherwise known as Debit Pin Pads are component devices with numeric keypads, that enable merchants to accept pin based debit transactions as a method of payment. If you are interested in incorporating a debit Pin Pad into your setup, you should start by inquiring with your current Merchant Processing company since many merchant processors include debit pin pads as a part of their product offering.

When you inquire with your merchant processor also be sure to check the rates. The rates do differed depends on whether you use a pin pad or you just swiping your card and the rate with pin pads tends to be a little bit lower, so you can also realize some savings as a result of incorporating the pin pad in your setup.
