Good day. My name is Matt Crawford and I’m with Quantum Merchant Services and I’m going to take a few moments and talk about Vx670, veriphone’s introductory into the wireless space.

The Vx670 comes in two models, two distinct options if you will. The first version of the terminal is a short range wifi device. The second version of the terminal is a long range GPRS device. So one device, the Vx670 or two separate unites if you will have two separate software configurations that allows it to work in a short range environment or a long range environment.

So let’s talk about the short range environment. The short range environment works off a wifi network. This requires a high speed internet connection at your business, this requires a wireless router. The beauty of this solution is that a single wireless router supports several devices. It gives you a freedom of great deal and flexibility with how you take payments from customers the best example of the most obvious example for the Vx670 wifi is in a restaurant pay at the table solution. No longer do the customers have to get up and debit payment, jostle with that behind the bar and use the terminal. Now, that terminal can be brought right to their table. The same is true as chipping pin Visa and MasterCard acceptance. You can bring the terminal right to the table and a credit card transaction can take place there. It’s a great solution if you have a patio or something like that; you can take the terminal out there and process credit card terminals out there.

More traditional retail businesses may see a benefit in using a Vx670 wifi in terms of; perhaps you are having a side walk sale and you want to be able to accept credit cards transactions outside your store for goods or services purchased. The short range wifi will take care of those needs. Or perhaps your customers need some sort of discretion or privacy when talking about pricing packages or making a payment. You can now take this device into an office, shut the door, and have a very personal conversation with your customers.

So that is the Vx670 wifi, same terminal, also available in a long range use device or a GPRS device. This device works off the cellar network. No instead of being limited to your actual place of business, you can take this device; use this device where ever you get cell phone coverage. Delivery people, trades people, tow trucks, taxies, trade show anyone who needs a mobile solution, and the Vx670 GPRS for a long range version is the perfect version for them on business.
